I was fortunate during my working career that I was able to travel around Australia as much as I did. I developed a deep love for our diverse island nation and with that came a need to try to protect its flora and fauna. I'm very worried about the overfishing of our oceans and given our planet is 71 percent oceans, if we don't protect this huge body of salt water, we will be unable to continue on. I believe we need to fix the basics of society first such as cheap, safe and reliable baseload electricity and this will allow us the time and money to get busy healing this planet.
